To determine your purpose, find your passion. Your passion will lead you to your purpose; Guerline T. Emmanuel did just that.
Originally from Haiti but resides in New York, Guerline has a flourishing career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Executive, and a growing family, with her husband, Hogarth, and their two children.
Though based in New York, Guerline and her family frequented Haiti often. These vacations to Haiti always left her wanting more: to see, do, and learn. Haiti's historical sites, landscapes, art, cuisine, music, dance, and people remained resilient. A story rarely told in the mainstream. In rediscovering Haiti, Guerline discovered her passion: as a travel professional showcasing Haiti's beauty to the rest of the world.
In November 2009, Guerline co-founded Belle Vue Tours, a tour guide company, offering historical, cultural, educational, and adventurous tour excursions (group, private, and customized) to Haiti.
As the Co-Owner & Business Development Manager for Belle Vue Tours, a tour guide company offering historical and cultural excursions to Haiti, Guerline brings over 20 years of experience in business management, marketing, and event planning. She holds a Bachelor in International Marketing from Baruch College, Event Marketing Certificate from New York University, and Hospitality & Tourism Management Certificate from Florida Atlantic University. Her roles have ranged from Account Manager, Sponsorship & Event Marketing Manager to Sales Executive at American Express, Madison Square Garden, The United States Tennis Association, Travel Impressions, and JPMorganChase. Before devoting her time to Belle Vue Tours, Guerline served as a Sales Executive at GlaxoSmithKline and Reliant Pharmaceuticals, both leading Pharmaceutical Companies. She has amassed years of experience providing stellar sales, account management, customer service, and Belle Vue Tours growing client's list attests to this: American Airlines, Fleurimond Catering, PaRaMa Travel Group, Haitian Businesses, and more.
Belle Vue Tours has been a featured tour company in American Airlines' "American Way," Daily News, Caribbean Life, The Nouvelliste, The Haitian Times, Raine, Official Black Wall Street, Caribbean Journal, and recently in WPIX11 News; a true testament to Guerline's and Hogarth's hard work and dedication to their passion.
In the same spirit to promote tourism and businesses in Haiti, I DO Haiti: Bridal & Wedding Expo, the first of its kind, was born. I DO Haiti debut in the New York Marriott Hotel at Brooklyn Bridge on August 31, 2019. The exposition is the brainchild of Guerline and her partner Nadege Fleurimond. The one-day extravaganza is designed to showcase Haiti's growing wed- ding industry to couples hoping to tie the knot with class and culture.
Making travel and Haiti her business over the past 11-years, Guerline T. Emmanuel understands the need for utility in a travel bag. When she could not find one that suited her needs, she created one. After several years of research and multiple prototypes, THE LIBERATORS, travel bags under BVstylez was born. BVstylez is the lifestyle brand of Belle Vue Tours inspired by the historical characters and events of Haitian history launched on November 18, 2019, on the anniversary of the Battle of Vertières. Significant, as it is the battle that won Haiti its Independence.
Through Belle Vue Tours, I DO Haiti, and BVstylez Guerline will continue to educate and share Haiti's rich history with the world.

Vanessa Joseph is an immigration attorney based in Miami, Florida. She began her work in immigration and human rights as a law student when she worked in two legal clinics where she was able to engage in advocacy on behalf of the Haitian community of South Florida.
In 2013, Joseph contributed to an amicus curiae brief filed in the case of Benito Tide Méndez et al. v. Dominican Republic before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. This brief focused on human rights violations by the Dominican Republic in its process of carrying out mass deportations of Haitians and Dominicans of Haitian descent without allowing them proper due process or taking into account humanitarian considerations. At that time, at the grassroots level, Vanessa also helped the local Haitian activists of Fanm Ayisyen Nan Miami (FANM) organize a rally to protest the Dominican government's actions and decision.
Vanessa also worked with the Miami Law Health Rights Clinic where she represented dozens of low-income individuals who struggled with mental health issues, were HIV+, or had AIDS. During this time, Vanessa was an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps JD Fellow, where she delivered critically needed legal assistance to veterans in low-income and underserved communities in South Florida. Her hard work and dedication in the Health Rights Clinic led her to earn the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the summer of 2014.
Today, as a Senior Attorney at Catholic Legal Services, continues providing legal services to vulnerable populations. In addition to representing low-income immigrants, Vanessa conducts information sessions for immigrant detainees to inform them of their rights and the immigration court process. Through her work in the detention centers, she has provided these services to more than one thousand men and women through group and individual orientations and self-help workshops.
As a member of the South Florida chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Vanessa serves as a Chair of the State Issues Committee and a member on the Pro Bono and Office of Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) committees.
As member of AILA, Vanessa is focused on helping South Florida's immigrant community find and secure competent legal representation and advocating on the issues that affect the immigrant communities in South Florida. Vanessa also serves as the Secretary for both the Haitian Lawyers Association (HLA) and the Haitian American Professionals Coalition (HAPC). Vanessa recently joined the board of FANM where she helps the organization continue its critical work of empowering Haitian women and their families, and the board of Casa Valentina where she supports the organization’s mission of helping youth transition successfully from foster care to independent living.
In addition to being an attorney, Vanessa is a public relations and marketing professional who has worked extensively with Haitian artists, musicians, personalities and businesses. Throughout graduate and law school studies, she co-founded and co-managed one of the top public relations and marketing firms of the Haitian Music Industry (HMI). Since 2009, Vanessa has offered brand and image management, meeting and event planning, production and execution, brand activation and brand awareness services to numerous clients. Her work in the public relations and marketing industry has led businesses and entities to increase brand awareness, establish favorable public perception, gain and maintain consumer loyalty.
Vanessa’s work has earned her the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce 20 Young Professionals Under 40 award (2017). She is also a Legacy Magazine South Florida 40 Under 40 honoree (2017).
As the daughter of Haitian immigrants who moved to the United States in the late 1980s, her dedication to the Haitian community of Florida is unwavering. These are the driving forces of Vanessa as a professional: a desire to serve as an advocate for marginalized communities such as the immigrant population and people with developmental disabilities; and, a dedication to the promotion of culture and creativity, especially her own Haitian heritage. Vanessa’s strong beliefs in every individual’s right to proper legal representation and the agency to fully participate in decision-making that affect their own lives inform every professional decision she makes.
